Kyriaki Mertzani is an individual and group psychotherapist. She is a trainee and supervised intern psychotherapist at the Institute for Relational and Group Psychotherapy, as part of her postgraduate specialization in Group Therapy Based on the Cognitive Analytical Model and Relational Psychotherapy.
She is currently working as privately as an individual and group psychotherapist. Conducts lectures and counselling workshops on the Parent-Child Relationship. Writes articles for a newspaper in the Health column on parent-child relationship and reproduction of generational trauma.
Kyriaki Mertzani is a volunteer in homelessness structures and groups of vulnerable people from natural disasters and wars. Volunteer time to provide support and care to refugee camps in the area where she lives. She is also a member of NGO C14 refugee care and medical assistance and in and the Volunteer and Civil Protection Association in the Thriasion area. She Is the author of a book on her private research the reproduction of family wounds. Her writing is ongoing.
In a society where changing and unpredictable environmental-social conditions are negatively affecting people. The spirit of solidarity with companionship and generosity is a means by which we can strike balance a peace. I want to be part of this effort.
